Save the Date :: Lobby Day 2010

by admin on March 7, 2010

We are all fired up after our hugely successful benefit concert last Saturday. A big thanks to everyone who made it possible and showed up to support our right to access midwifery care throughout New York State. Stay tuned for a formal announcement of our upcoming Afternoon of Activism and Community happening next Saturday, March 13th from 12-3 pm.

Of course all our recent energy and happenings are all part of a big push towards Lobby Day in Albany!

We are going to have a chance to rally with midwife supporting families from all over the New York State and speak with our legislators about why we support the Midwifery Modernization Act. We will keep you updated with more details, ways to register and help with organizing rides to Albany.  Save the date! ***   ***   *** We want to hear what your community is doing to support midwifery and the MMA. Please forward us announcements, calendar events, and news so we can keep the site updated with statewide info.  Consider yourself a FreeOurMidwives reporter.  All news can be emailed to hillary@freeourmidwives.org.
