What/why:
In New York State, the freedom to choose midwifery care is in jeopardy. New legislation, if passed, would protect and expand midwifery options for New York women. BirthNet of the Fingerlakes is hosting an afternoon of activism and community, designed to celebrate midwifery and educate families on how they can take action.
